The next step was to click windows and go down to animation but there is no animation button below it. I found the animation button after I click file, jump to adobe image ready. But now I cant right click the second layer (of the heart) to do the blending effects. I am using adobe photoshop 7. I'l keep working on it but appreciate some help. thanks.
